Hand drawn designs using Ironlak Paint Pens

For the last couple of years I have been doing chalkboard art for various Coles supermarket stores in the Brisbane North area, including Redcliffe, Mango Hill, Murrumba Downs and North Lakes.

After completed my first design for the Coles Redcliffe Dolphins store, word quickly spread to surrounding store managers and before I knew it I was creating designs for 4 different stores. The manager’s request various store concepts, events and visions (content direct from Coles) to be painted on the walls. I use blackboard paint as a base and Ironlak paint pens to paint with. I don’t use actual chalk for these walls because they need to be long-lasting and well…people can’t help themselves.

When a new design is required I paint over my previous work and go again.
